Spain is the 16th european information country

Our society keep the same position one year more in the ranking of the most important information societies created by Fundación Orange. This study measures the european development of new technologies applied to citizen communication and its incorporation in new digital convergences.

On the international panorama, Spain pass the exam with the growth in the use of smartphones. In particular, the 45% of the spanish citizens access to the Internet with their smartphones, according to the information of El País. The most download apps are Whatsapp in smartphones and Facebook in tablets devices.

On the other side, e-commerce is the lowest developed point. Only the 35% of citizens has bought through the net, so that’s a low number in comparison with the position in Denmark or United Kingdom.
